Manual activation

If you cannot use the recommended smooth online activation, you also have the possibility to activate axesPDF software manually.

Important: You need a valid product key for the activation.

The 3 steps at a glance:

  1. Create a License Request File by using the product key on the machine where you want to activate the axesPDF software (machine A) and save it
  2. Create a License File by taking the License Request File to a machine with internet access (machine B), download the License Creator, upload the License Request File to the License Creator and create a License File
  3. Activate the axesPDF software by taking the License File to machine A, go to the "License Information" and activate your software manually by choosing the option "Install License".

1. Create a License Request File

  1. In the dialog box "axesPDF License Activation" choose the method "Manual Activation". 
  2. In the next dialog box "axesPDF License Activation" choose the item "Create License Request". 
  3. In the following dialog box "axesPDF License Activation": enter the Product Key and click "Save Request". 

2. Create a License File

Option 1: You create a License File on your own

  1. Take the License Request File to a machine with internet access (machine B).
  2. On machine B: Download the License Creator.
  3. Upoad the License Request File (.lrq) to the License Creator and click the button "Create License".
  4. Save the License File (.lic).

Option 2: We create the license file for you

  1. Send us an email with the License Request File (.lrq).
  2. We create a License File and sent it back to you.
  3. Save the License File (.lic).

3. Install the License File

  1. Take the License File to machine A.
  2. Go to the dialog box "axesPDF License Activation" (see step 1.) and select the item "Manual Activation". 
  3. Choose this time the task "Install License".
  4. Upoad the License File (.lic) (1) and click the button "Activate" (2).


    Please check the displayed Computer Name and the Computer Name as part of the License File Name - they have to be the same. If it is not the same, you probably have used the wrong License File.

  5. Done!

    Now you can use your axesPDF software according to your license without functional restriction.
